Manolo Blahnik began his career as a designer over 30 years ago when he began learning the art by speaking directly with shoe factory workers who understood the principals behind quality shoes. He opened his first shop in London’s Chelsea in 1973 and since then has seen his career blossom and his star as a designer rise on the praise he receives from his adoring and often-times famous fans.
